Captain Willy: Ancient Relic
Captain Willy, on the docks south of Olivine, asks you to recover a relic from his grandfather's ship, which the Tentacruel sank. It gives you 1,000,000 experience and it is the first part of the Lucky Amulet: you cannot start that quest without it.

Steps
- Go to Olivine, in Johto, and talk to Captain Willy on the docks south of the city.
- Go to the sea area where the Tentacruel are and bring the relic up from the seabed. It shows up in your inventory as “ancient relic”.
- Go back to Captain Willy and hand him the relic.
How to reach Olivine
Olivine is in Johto. If you have not been to Johto yet, there are two ways: fly over the water south of New Bark with a Pokémon that has Fly (see Fly, Surf and Ride), or take the boat from Vermilion to Olivine, which costs 50,000 Pokédollars. Once there, talk to the Nurse at the Olivine Pokémon Center so you can come back with Teleport (h "olivine).
