Mewtwo Clones Dungeon

Mewtwo Clones Dungeon (or just Clones) is a co-op dungeon on Mewtwo Island for parties of 2 to 4 players. Each character can complete it once a month, and it pays well: up to 12,000,000 XP, Mewtwo tokens to get Helds, Neutral Stones for Boost and Prey Wildcards.

The Pokémon inside drop no loot: the whole reward comes when you beat the final boss.

How to get there

  1. Go to Mandarin Island. With Teleport you get there by typing h "mandarin.

  2. Talk to the Vikings and choose the trip to Mewtwo Island.

  3. Gather your party next to the dungeon entrance.

  4. Use the entrance to open the Mewtwo Clones Dungeon panel.

Note: You need a VIP Account. The whole party has to be next to the entrance. Only one party fits inside at a time: if another is in, wait for their attempt to end.

Difficulties and rewards

The party leader picks the difficulty in «Select Difficulty». Every member has to meet the minimum level, not just the leader: if someone in your party is level 280, the party can only enter Easy. Difficulties above the leader’s level show a lock and the «Start» button stays disabled.

Buffs

Before starting, the leader can press «Buy Buffs» and pick any of them in «Buff’s Shop». Each one costs 400,000 Pokédollars, and all four cost 1,600,000 Pokédollars. The leader pays when the attempt starts; they only last for that attempt and are not refunded if it fails.

Walkthrough

  1. Laboratory: break the cloning tubes. Each broken tube releases an enemy; a counter shows your progress, and when every tube in the sector is broken, the next barrier opens.

  2. Team rooms: in some of them you need Pokémon standing on pressure plates to open the way.

  3. Individual clones: each player picks a different door and fights a clone of their own active Pokémon alone, so you need one out of its Poké Ball. You cannot leave until you beat it, and the next sector opens once everyone has won.

  4. Finale: clear the remaining enemies, go through the door and defeat Clone, the boss based on Mewtwo. Once it falls, everyone gets the XP and items, the Pokémon are healed and the party is sent back to Mewtwo Island.

Monthly limit and failures

  • Once you complete it, you cannot go in again until the 1st of the next month: if you finish it on October 3, your next attempt can be from November 1.

  • If time runs out, the party is sent out with its Pokémon healed. That attempt does not use up the month’s clear, so you can try again, but the buffs you paid for are gone.

  • Leaving the dungeon removes you from the attempt’s party.

What to do with the rewards

Mewtwo token

Every 20 Mewtwo tokens can be exchanged for a random T3 to T7 Held in the Helds exchange. The 100 from a Hard run are enough for 5 exchanges.

Neutral Stones

They are Boost Stones: each successful use raises Boost by 1 level, but each stone only works in its own Boost range (table below).

Prey Wildcard

Each Prey Wildcard activates or renews a Prey slot.

Medal Box

Opening a Medal Box gives you a random medal for Medals.
