Craft
Craft is the Workshop window: you pick a recipe, choose how many units you want, and the Workshop makes them from your materials. The Boost Stone Workshop, for example, is where you make the Boost Stones you need for Boost.
Where it is
The Boost Stone Workshop is the Boost machine in the southern part of the Trade Center. Right next to it is the Exchange of Helds machine, and the Held Fusion Machine is in the same area (see Helds).
Some events bring their own Workshop, such as the Easter Workshop, with recipes paid in Easter Token or Shiny Easter Token.
How to craft
Go to the Workshop machine and open its window. Pick a category; the Boost Stone Workshop has one per type.
Pick the recipe. “Required Materials” shows what each unit needs.
Press “Craft” and set the amount. Before you confirm, the window shows how many units you’re making and how long the whole order will take.
While it works, the bar shows what’s done out of the total: 3(1) / 10 means 3 of 10 units are done and 1 of them hasn’t been picked up yet.
Press “Collect” to pick up whatever is done, without waiting for the whole order to finish.
Note: the Workshop window closes as soon as you take a step: stand still while you pick a recipe, order or collect.
Materials and time
To work out the most units you can order, the Workshop counts the materials in your backpack and in your Depot Stash.
Total time is the number of units times the time per unit. At the Boost Stone Workshop the window shows 1 s per unit, so 10 Boost Stones take 10 s.
Boost Stone recipes
The Boost Stone Workshop has 180 recipes: the 10 Boost Stones, Novice to Mystic, for each of the 18 types. Each recipe asks for the type's Fragment, the type's stone (Fire Stone for Fire ones) and drops from Pokémon of that type.
The recipe is not fixed: every server save changes which drops it asks for, from a fixed list for each type, and how many of each material, Fragments included. Within one server save, the 10 Boost Stones of a type ask for the same materials and only the amounts go up. Before farming, always check «Required Materials» in the Workshop.
The list of possible drops for each type and the Fragment range of each Boost Stone are in Boost.
