Dr. Oliveira: Shiny Ditto
Dr. Oliveira, in the Pallet laboratory, turns a Ditto into a Shiny Ditto in exchange for materials. The first time you have to defeat 50 Ditto beforehand; after that, you can repeat the exchange for more Shiny Ditto.

Steps
- Talk to Dr. Oliveira in the Pallet laboratory.
- Defeat 50 Ditto. It gives you 500,000 experience.
- Gather 1,000 DNA Gosme, 1 regular (non-shiny) Ditto and 1 DNA Chain. DNA Chain is sold in the Diamond Store, under Exclusives.
- Hand the materials to Dr. Oliveira.
Materials
DNA Gosme drops from Ditto: 1 from 70% of the Ditto you defeat in a Common hunt and from every one in a Wildscape hunt. For 1,000 you need to defeat about 1,430 Ditto in Common, or 1,000 in Wildscape. DNA Chain costs 150 Diamonds in the Diamond Store, Exclusives category.
Rewards
- 1 Shiny Ditto that keeps the Poké Ball, Boost and Helds of the Ditto you hand in
- 500,000 experience for defeating the 50 Ditto (first time only)
Notes
- After the first time, only the exchange repeats: every 1,000 DNA Gosme, 1 Ditto and 1 DNA Chain get you another Shiny Ditto. The experience is not given again.
