TV Cam

TV Cam is the game's streaming system: with a TV Camera you open your own channel, and other players can watch you play from a TV set. While your channel is open you get +5% Shiny Charm, even if nobody is watching.

+5% Shiny Charm while streaming

No viewers needed

A password does not remove the bonus

Opening your channel

The TV Camera is bought from the NPC Jully, at the entrance of the Trade Center, for 1,000 Pokédollars: say «hi» and then «trade».

  1. Carry the TV Camera and use it.

  2. In the «TV Channel» window, type the channel name.

  3. Set a password or leave the field empty. Without a password the channel is public; with one, only people who know it can watch.

  4. Press «Start Host». You are now streaming: you can close the camera window and keep playing.

Shiny Charm bonus

Shiny Charm makes more shiny Pokémon appear, and the TV Cam gives you +5%. It works like this:

  • It only counts while you stream: carrying the camera in your backpack is not enough.

  • No viewers are needed.

  • Setting a password does not remove it.

  • It is lost when you close the channel («Close Channel») or log out.

  • Only the streamer gets it, not the viewers.

The !buffs command lists your active bonuses, including the camera one (the other commands are in Chat commands).

Managing your channel

While you stream, the Cam panel shows the channel name, how many viewers you have and how long it has been open. Its buttons:

Watching a channel

To watch a channel you do not use the TV Camera but a TV set. The Diamond Store sells the HD Tron TV for 20 Diamonds, in the Houses category (Television section). Using the TV opens the «Channel List» with the channels currently streaming.

  • Each channel shows the player, the description, the viewers, their Guild («No Guild» if none), their level and a padlock if it has a password.

  • You can search by name, description or Guild, and hide password-protected channels with «Hide password protected».

  • «Watch» joins the channel; if it has a password, you are asked for it.

  • Inside the channel, the camera follows that player and you see their Pokémon.

  • → or ↑ take you to the next channel and ← or ↓ to the previous one (or use the «Next» and «Prev» buttons). Escape or «Leave Channel» takes you out of the channel.
