NPC Trade
(Buying from and selling to NPCs)
Shop NPCs sell you the basics (Poké Balls, potions and revives, backpacks) and buy the loot from your Hunts. It all goes through the NPC Trade window, which also has Sell all to empty your backpack in one go without selling what you want to keep.
The NPC Trade window
Walk up to the NPC and say hi.
Say trade: the «NPC Trade» window opens.
The «Buy» tab shows what the NPC sells you and «Sell» what it buys from you. Use the search box to find an item. In Sell, the «Show all items» box also lists what the NPC buys even if you are not carrying it.
To buy you need the money and free capacity. Stackable items can be bought up to 10,000 per purchase; non-stackable ones, one at a time.
Selling your loot in one go
In the NPC Trade window press «Sell all»: «Quick Sell» opens with everything in your backpack the NPC buys and the total amount.
Left-click an item to keep it this time: it moves to the «The following items will NOT be sold:» list.
Right-click it to add it to your block list («Right-click any item to pin it to your block list.»): it is saved and left out of every later quick sale.
At the bottom the window asks «Are you sure you want to sell all these items for …?» with the total. Press «Sell» to sell or «Cancel» to leave without selling.
When you Look at an item, «Price:» usually shows what the NPC pays for the whole stack. For example, 4 Lapras Fin at 250 Pokédollars each come to 1,000 Pokédollars.
Note: each item page shows its NPC price when it is known. To compare loot, use the List view of Creature Items, Shiny Creature Items and Stones.
