Boost
(Enhancement)
Boost permanently increases a Pokémon's power. Each point counts as 3 extra levels in the damage calculation of its moves, so a +50 Pokémon adds the equivalent of 150 levels. It is applied by using a Boost Stone of the right band and element on the Poké Ball; for example, an Enhanced Normal Stone for a Normal Pokémon between +15 and +20.
How to apply
Get the Boost Stone of the band that matches the Pokémon's current Boost.
Check that the stone's element matches at least one of the Pokémon's elements.
Use the stone on the Poké Ball.
If it succeeds, the Pokémon gains +1 Boost.

Bands
Each Boost band uses its own Boost Stone. The stone's description and the panel show the band it accepts.

On failure
On success
The Pokémon gains +1 Boost and the accumulated bonus goes back to 0.
On failure
The stone is consumed and the Pokémon does not lose Boost. The next attempt in that band adds 10 percentage points.
Example with a 20% stone:
- 1st attempt: 20%
- 2nd attempt: 30%
- 3rd attempt: 40%
- 4th attempt: 50%
Stones by element
The Boost Stone craft machine uses Pokémon items of the element, Fragments of that element, the matching elemental stone and the other materials of the recipe. Recipes change with updates: check the machine before gathering materials.
Fragments come mostly from Dungeons of the same element; for example, the Machop family Dungeon gives Fighting materials.
Investment order
In a new team, spread the first Boosts among the Pokémon you actually use in your rotation. Once the group is stable, focus the rarest stones on the ones that deal the most damage.
Before using an expensive stone, check:
that it is the right Poké Ball;
that the stone's band matches the current Boost;
that the element is compatible;
that the Pokémon will stay in the main team.
