Duelist Brotherhood

Each contract is a short loop: you sign it, find the duelist it names and defeat them. You need VIP to sign.

1. Talk to the Duelist Brotherhood NPC, north of Cerulean. You only need to do this the first time.

2. From then on, contracts are signed at the mailbox outside any Pokémon Center: use it and the Brotherhood window opens. With the Duelist Brotherhood Panel you can open it wherever you are.

3. Without moving, press a slot that says «Sign New Contract». The contract appears in that slot with the duelist's name, look and a description.

4. Find that duelist. If you have the Duelist Radar, use it to see which way your nearest active contract is.

5. Defeat the duelist: you earn Mighty Tokens and the contract counts toward «Contracts completed this week» and «Total contracts completed».

The Brotherhood window

It has 6 slots in two columns:

• A free slot says «Sign New Contract»: pressing it signs a new contract.

• A signed contract shows the NPC's name, its look and a description.

• Legendary contracts have their name in red; normal ones, in gold.

• At the bottom you see «Contracts completed this week» and «Total contracts completed» (your all-time total).

• The window closes as soon as you take a step: stand still while you sign.

Each week you can complete up to 40 contracts; the count resets with the Server Save on the night from Sunday to Monday. When you have fewer than 6 left before 40, the extra slots show as already done («You have already defeated this contract!») and cannot be used until the reset.

Example: if you have done 38 contracts this week and have none signed, you will see 2 slots with «Sign New Contract» and 4 marked as done.

Note: if you reach the maximum and want to keep going that same week, «Reset Weekly Duelist Brotherhood» (30 Diamonds, in the Utilities category of the Diamond Store) sets your weekly count back to 0. It is not an item: it applies as soon as you buy it.

The Utilities category of the Diamond Store has three items that save you time on contracts: the Duelist Radar, the Upgraded Duelist Radar and the Duelist Brotherhood Panel.

Duelist Radar

Costs 25 Diamonds. It shows which direction your nearest active contract is in.

Upgraded Duelist Radar

Costs 30 Diamonds. It does more than point the way: it shows you a shortcut to the position of your nearest active contract.

Duelist Brotherhood Panel

Costs 50 Diamonds. It lets you accept contracts wherever you are.

Completed contracts count towards the Achievements «Duelist Brotherhood» (normal contracts) and «Legendary Duelist Brotherhood» (Legendary contracts). Each milestone gives these Helds:
