Hunt Analyzer

The Hunt Analyzer is the client window that keeps score of your hunt: how long you have been at it, how much experience you earned, what your loot is worth, what you spent and whether you end up making or losing money. It lets you compare hunts with numbers instead of guesswork.

What it tracks

Session

How long the session has run, counted from its start or your last Reset. The clock stops while paused.

Total XP

The experience you earned this session.

Loot

The estimated value of everything you picked up.

Spent

The estimated value of everything you spent.

Balance

Loot minus Spent: your profit or loss.

Damage

Your total damage dealt this session.

Balance has no sign: the color tells you whether you are up or down. If Loot shows 1,200,000 Pokédollars and Spent shows 300,000 Pokédollars, you see 900,000 Pokédollars in green: that is your profit. Had Spent been 1,500,000 Pokédollars, you would see 300,000 Pokédollars in red: that is what you lost. Breaking even exactly shows in green.

Note: the panel abbreviates figures; hover over one to see the exact number.

Measuring a hunt

  1. Step 1:

Click Analyzer in the top menu. The Hunt Analyzer window opens.

  2. Step 2:

Right before you start hunting, click Reset Analyzer and confirm: everything is wiped and the clock goes back to zero.

  3. Step 3:

Hunt as usual: the figures add up by themselves.

  4. Step 4:

If you stop to sell, to take a break or because you died, click the pause button (the time turns yellow) and click it again when you resume. That way the break does not count.

  5. Step 5:

When you finish, check Balance and Total XP. More Infos gives you the breakdown by item and by creature.

The session

  • While paused, the clock stops and any experience you earn is not added to the session.

  • The session survives logging out and switching characters as long as the client stays open. Closing the client wipes it. The clock keeps running while you are logged out: if you are stepping away for a while, pause before you log out.

  • Switching characters does not reset the session: whatever the other character earns is added to the same session. If you play 30 min on your main and earn 2,000,000 XP, then 30 min on an alt that earns 500,000, the panel shows 2,500,000 XP and a little over 1 h, because the time spent switching counts too. To measure them separately, click Reset when you switch.

More Infos: Loot and Damage

More Infos opens a second window with two tabs. It has its own Reset button, which wipes the session just like the one on the panel.

Loot

The items that dropped this session, in a grid. Hover to see «Name (xN)»: how many times it dropped. Click an item to see the time of each drop, newest first, 50 per page. Item values are not shown here, only in the exported file.

Damage

One row per creature: sprite, how many you defeated (xN), name and total damage, 8 per page. Click Count, Pokemon or Total Damage to sort the list: each click cycles through ascending, descending and unsorted.

Note: times in the Loot tab are in Brazil time (UTC−3), whatever your PC’s time zone. If you play in UTC−5 (New York in winter), a drop at 15:00 your time shows as 17:00.

Exporting the session

Per-hour figures (XP, loot, spending, balance and damage per hour) are not on the panel, only in the exported file. They are what you need to compare hunts of different lengths: 3,000,000 XP in 2 h is 1,500,000 per hour, less than 2,000,000 in 1 h.

  1. Click the options button on the window’s title bar, next to the close button.

  2. Choose Export as JSON, Export as CSV or Copy JSON to clipboard. The CSV opens in any spreadsheet app.

  3. If you exported to a file, the chat shows «Session exported to …» with its path; if you copied the JSON, it shows «Session JSON copied to clipboard».
