Buffs
(Character bonuses)
Buffs are temporary bonuses on your character: more XP, more drops, a better catch chance or more shiny Pokémon. You get them from Boosters and some game systems.
Checking your buffs
Type !buffs in chat: it lists your active bonuses, such as Experience, Shiny Charm, Lucky or Catch.
While any bonus is active, a tray on screen shows one icon per bonus with its time left; hover over an icon to see what it does. You can drag the tray anywhere: it stays where you put it and hides itself once your bonuses run out.
Food works separately: !food tells you which food effects are active and how long each one has left.

Experience
More XP for every Pokémon you defeat.
Loot
Higher drop chance on any Pokémon.
Catch
Higher chance to catch Pokémon.
Shiny Charm
More shiny Pokémon appear.
Shiny Catch
Higher chance to catch shiny Pokémon.
Sweet Aroma
Passive Pokémon turn aggressive and attack you.
Pokelog Boost
Every Pokémon you defeat counts twice in your Pokélog.
Hover over the Experience, Loot, Catch, Shiny Charm or Shiny Catch icon to see how much it adds; Sweet Aroma and Pokelog Boost show no percentage.
Removing a buff
Right-click the bonus icon in the tray.
Pick that bonus’s “Delete … Bonus” option; for example, “Delete Experience Bonus”.
«Confirm Remove» opens with the question «Are you sure you want to remove <bonus> bonus?». Press «Yes»: the bonus is deleted and disappears from the tray. «No» leaves it as it is.
